The Acer Aspire S7 runs Windows 8 64-bit Edition on a 1.9GHz Intel Core i7-3517U CPU. Memory comes in at 8GB DDR3 SDRAM with 2 slots and RAM comes in at 4GB. When it comes to display, the resolution is a 1920x1080 glossy pixel display. Monitor size is a good 13 inches, relatively alright for a midsized laptop. The feel

Of course when buying a laptop, we look for the feel and tactile feedback during use. The Acer Aspire 7 is fun to use. The keyboard’s buttons are spaced well, except for the arrow keys, which seem a cramped into the right corner. The keys are backlit and perfect for use in a dark environment.

Battery life is up to 9 hours and 17 minutes with continuous usage. With that kind of battery life, you can use it a whole day at work on a single charge. Graphics are also sharp and smooth. With Nvidia GeForce GT 750M provides speedy and high performance visuals so you can set your display to a high resolution. Security is also a priority for Acer and the S7 comes with Mcafee antivirus standard.

Overall, the Acer Aspire S7 scores points in the category of usability, portability and specs. Everything we love about Acer is put into the S7. So if you are looking for a midsize laptop with reliable specs and an overall laptop that does what you need it to, go for the Acer Aspire S7.
