Acer Liquid Z5 Philippines: Your Perfect Everyday Smartphone

An affordable smartphone with huge offerings. First up, it sports a large display perfect for providing a rich user experience in every task, game, application, and videos that you need to run. Its 5-inch display is one of the best and biggest in the entry level category which comes with a very affordable price tag. Aside from that, it comes equipped with a 5 Megapixel shooter armed with LED flash and a front-facing VGA camera. The phone’s battery capacity s 2000 mAh, giving the Acer Liquid Z5 enough power to function from sun up until sun down with just a single charge. It’s an entry-level smartphone that’s designed to dominate the lower end of the spectrum.


The screen resolution of this phone is 480 x 854 pixels with a pixel density of 196 pixels per inch. There are enough pixels that could stretch across its 5-inch screen without looking dull and unsaturated. The screen to body ratio is at 64.4%, giving more than half of the phone’s surface to the phone’s touch screen.

Design and Features

The Acer Liquid Z5 is built with a premium plastic, making it lightweight and elegant looking. The sim card and microSD slot are kept safe with a plastic flap as a cover which adds a robust looking accent into the phone’s design. It’s extremely slim, measuring only 8.8mm in thickness, and could easily fit into the palm of your hands.

This phone is packed with all the essentials that you could need from a smartphone, including a camera. As mentioned above, it sports a 5 Megapixel rear camera and a VVGA front camera. The primary camera has auto-focus and LED flash. It also comes with a rear button which is right below the primary camera, it can function as a hard button for the camera’s shutter. It’s an extra hardware feature that adds more ease in operating this phone single handedly.

User Interface and Overall Performance

This smartphone runs on an Android 4.2 JellyBean and it has its own customized launcher to add more fun into its interface. The stand out features of Acer Liquid Z5’s own launcher is that it comes with floating widget for calculator, notepad, and likes. Whatever tasks you may have opened on your screen, you can easily access these floating widget from the notification panel.

As for its hardware performance, it provides is ran by a solid processing unit made of dual-core MTK chipset and 512MB worth of RAM.
