iPhone 4S Philippines – Enter Siri
The iPhone 4S marked several different things for Apple when it was launched. It would be Apple's fifth generation iPhone, the last iPhone to ever use the Apple proprietary 30 pin connector (before being replaced by the Apple Lightning Connector), and also the first Apple mobile device and smartphone to come with Siri, Apple's very own voice-based digital personal assistant. Siri actually was a separate application made available on the Apple App Store, but it was later acquired by Apple to be fully integrated into its proprietary operating systems.
Siri is a computer program that utilizes voice-based interaction to interact with the user. It works as an intelligent personal assistant that is embedded into Apple iOS, watchOS, and tvOS operating systems. Unlike many other attempts at creating a voice-based digital personal assistant however, Siri operates and responds very naturally. Siri's responses tend to very conversational like – try asking her for a joke, and she'll do her best!
And as withi the iPhone 3G and 3GS, the iPhone 4S is hardware revision and update from the normal iPhone 4, bringing updated specifications to run newer software more efficiently and deliver consistent performance on a whole.
Apple iPhone 4S Philippines on iOS5
The Apple iPhone 4S ships with Apple's iOS 5 operating system, and with that, all of the intuitive and useful features of iOS 5. The operating system brings a lot of useful and intuitive features to the user interface, most prominently the new Notification Center. In the past, iOS notifications would just pop over the screen, however now it appears at the top, similar to the Android operating system. It can also be easily accessed by pulling it down from the top.
ICloud, Apple's cloud-based service and storage also became first available with the launch of iOS 5. This gave users a convenient and universal backup for all of their music, pictures, and notes (and more!) across all of their iCloud enabled Apple devices.
The Design of the Apple iPhone 4S Philippines
The Apple iPhone 4S's design is a strong departure from the previous iPhone 3GS which was generally very round in all aspects. The iPhone 4S on the other hand opts for a more contemporary and modern design with a generally square shape and sharp angle. This gives the smartphone a more uniformed and slimmer profile. But of course, the compulsory Home button that is iconic to iPhones is always prevalent on the bottom of the smartphone.
