Fujitsu ScanSnap iX100 Philippines: Price, Specs, and Review

Fujitsu ScanSnap iX100: The ultimate portable scanner for one-off images

If you’re in the market for an affordable, fast, and easy-to-use scanner, the ScanSnap iX100 is a great choice. This device is the fastest battery-powered scanner in the ScanSnap range that takes scanning to the next level. Whether you are scanning recipes, IDs, receipts, etc., the iX100 will get the job done. It’s the ultimate portable wireless scanner that is compatible with your PC, Mac, iOS, or Android device!

Scan documents and photos into your PC with ease!

In order for you to scan your document or photo into your computer, all you have to do is plug the ScanSnap cable into the scanner’s USB port. Then, insert your document into the device’s feeder and hit the Scan button that emits a blue glow. Once your document is fed through the scanner, your computer monitor will prompt you and let you decide whether to stop scanning or to insert a new document or photo to the feeder.

Once the scanning is done, the scanner will notify you to select where the image file will be saved. You can select from a slew of options, such as a folder on your device, email, cloud storage like Dropbox and Google, iPhoto, or any printing device connected to your network.

Simple scanning to your mobile device

When it comes to scanning to a mobile device, you will have a similarly simple but different experience. What makes the experience different is that you need to download a mobile app called ScanSnap Connect on your mobile phone.

Once everything is set up, you can now begin scanning. Simply press the Scan button that is found within your app and watch your document or photo being fed through the iX100. In just a few seconds, your document or photo will be transferred to your mobile phone!

For mobile users, there are two ways to connect the device. First, you can use any home or office wi-fi networks. And second, you can use the dedicated wi-fi connection from your ScanSnap device, which might come in handy if you need a quick scan.

Impressive speed

The iX100 is impressively fast. According to Fujitsu, this ScanSnap scanner can produce a digital file of a letter page in just about 5 seconds. For full-color images, they will be fed and pulled through the scanner within 3 seconds, while business cards will go through the machine in just 1 second! So, if you want a speedy scanner that does one-off scans, you will definitely adore this device.

Variety of uses

The ScanSnap iX100 is great for those who often scan photos, business cards, and other documents that don’t really need physical copies. Feeding a business card through the scanner won’t take long. After it’s scanned, you can use the CardMinder software to add a name and other business information.
