Achievement Unlocked: 10 Million and Counting

06 February 2018

Chinese smartphone giants, Huawei first entered the high-end smartphone scene in 2012 and they are unlikely to leave anytime soon with their recent achievement. Huawei has just announced that they have shipped more than 10 million copies of their flagship Huawei P9 and P9 Plus’ worldwide – making them the first models in Huawei’s inventory to achieve this remarkable feat. Despite a slow international market in terms of smartphone sales in 2016, this impressive result has proven that Huawei’s decision to invest in international markets is paying off handsomely. The announcement was made by Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) in a press release released at the end of December 2016.

Huawei Band: Your Perfect Fit

Huawei has finally joined the smartwatch competition, and their first attempt at venturing down this technological road has led to the creation of the Huawei Band. The Huawei band is a smartwatch that can help you stay fit, keep track of your health and activities, and get stay connected.

Less but More

The Huawei Band is a perfect depiction of simple but elegant. It embodies a very minimalistic aesthetics that provides more room for functionality. The circular design of the watch’s screen and body surrounded by seamless steel exudes a sense of elegance. Its simplistic style is universal and timeless; its design will remain modern across time. It comes in three humble colors: black, white, and cream.

Outstanding Touchscreen Experience

The Huawei Band’s screen is a scratch and breaks resistant PMOLED touch screen that provides a full touchscreen user experience. It is highly durable, thus making it a sturdy accessory to carry around with you. Its screen is also highly responsive to simple motion of the hand, and with a simple movement, it can activate the screen instantly. The 1.06-inch screen is very intuitive and provides an instantaneous response.

Endure with You

Where ever you go, the Huawei Band can go with you, even to the depths of the sea. This smartwatch is IP 68 Certified, which means it can resist the entry of water and dust into its internal hardware. As for water resistance, it can dive up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. The IP68 certification means that it has complete protection to withstand any day to day hazards such as water or dust. Whether you’re jogging under a drizzle or washing your hands or taking a shower, you can take the Huawei band with you.

Intelligent Reminder

The main purpose of smartwatches is to keep you connected to your phone even if you’re not carrying it with you. The Huawei band can keep you notified about the latest emails, text messages, calls, alarms, reminders, and events with just a glance. It’s going to be easier to navigate your fast-paced life with the aid of the Huawei Band. Stay on the nose of your calendar without having to pull out your phone from your pocket.
