Huawei Mate 10 Pro Philippines: Specs, Price, and Review

Huawei Mate 10 Pro - Your Ideal Phablet

The Huawei Mate 10 Pro has everything it takes to be your faithful smartphone companion based. From its design to hardware, it is a good representation of what the brand has to offer as a reputable smartphone manufacturer. Being a flagship device, the Huawei Mate 10 has a flurry of impressive features to offer.

Design and Build

Huawei scores a perfect 10 when it comes to the design of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro. The smartphone sports a sleek mix of a metal frame and a glass back, creating a phone that looks and feels premium as you expect a flagship device to be. The toughen rear glass is heated to 700-degree Celsius before shaping in order to deliver the ultimate style. There are also thin bezels around the screen, enabling the phone to fit the 6-inch screen while maintaining a svelte build. Huawei’s signature stripes help to highlight the dual lens cameras with the purpose of embodying the perfect symmetry of a superior smartphone. It is also ergonomically designed, as the curved glass fits snugly in the palm of the hands.

Display

The Huawei Mate 10 Pro has an 80.9% screen-to-bezel ratio, following the steps of other popular flagships today. The 6-inch OLED screen boasts a 2,160 x 1,080p resolution that offers crisp and vibrant colours, thanks to its HDR 10 technology. Having a bigger screen with superb visual quality means that watching shows and playing games are an absolute joy on the device. The display will remain intensely vivid even under direct sunlight.

Camera

Huawei continues its partnership with Leica for the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, which means that users can rest assured when it comes to the photo quality. On the back of the device, the phone is equipped with a dual camera setup, featuring a 12MP, f/1.6 aperture, RGB shooter with optical image stabilization and a 20MP monochrome sensor with f/1.6 aperture. They offer spectacular results regardless of the weather and lighting conditions.

Internal Hardware

Huawei has once again decided to make its own silicon for the Huawei Mate 10 Pro in the form of a new Kirin 970 octa-core processor. However, the real highlight lies in the Network Processing Unit, a unique AI-powered system dedicated to improving the productivity and efficiency of the phone even as the device ages. The powerful processor combined with NPU enables the Huawei Mate 10 Pro to deliver silky-smooth performance even while multitasking. This is because it has the capabilities that boost efficiency by 50x and performance by 25x. Also, your privacy will be ensured thanks to the phones ability to operate independently from standard cloud-based processing.

Battery

Inside the Mate 10 Pro is a massive 4,000mAh battery that can last up two days between charges. Charging the smartphone is also quite efficient thanks to Huawei’s SuperCharge technology that fully charges the device in about 90 minutes and along with the smart battery management, it adapts to user’s behaviours to intelligently allocate resources, power-waste is minimized, and battery life maximized.
