Huawei P10 Close to Perfection

Huawei’s latest flagship smartphone – the P10 – is a testament to Huawei’s reputation as one of the leading smartphone manufacturer’s today, with an emphasis placed on design and photography. The P10 has received rave reviews from industry experts for its photography prowess and its flawless performance.

The Huawei P10 sports a stylish design as expected on a flagship smartphone but there are specific physical aspects that made the P10 stand out from its competitors. Firstly, Huawei decided to go out of the norm by moving the device’s accurate and responsive fingerprint scanner to the front (beneath the screen) compared to opting for the normal placement of under the rear cameras. Another tweak on the Huawei P10 that many experts and consumers welcomed was the addition of the latest Gorilla Glass 5 that increased the durability of the smartphone.

The processor and chipset on the Huawei P10 smartphone are the same as the larger Mate 9 and P10 Plus – featuring Huawei’s powerful Kirin 960 multi-core processor and supported by 4GB RAM. The smartphone’s GPU boasts a 180 percent increase in performance and a 40 percent improvement in power efficiency. This makes the P10 one of the most powerful phones on the market, boasting flawless overall performance and multi-tasking capabilities.

Huawei’s continuous partnership with camera experts Leica bore excellent results. The P10 is equipped with a 20MP monochrome sensor and a 12MP colour sensor, which can take photos with extra sharpness and clarity. With a variety of configurations available, users are also able to experiment with different shots and obtain DSLR-quality photos.

In terms of the software, the P10 runs on the latest Android 7.0 platform. Users are also treated to Huawei’s upgraded EMUI 5.1 which brings along with it additional UX improvements, performance optimization settings, and several new features such as the “Ultra Memory” optimization and Machine Learning to improve app usage. Security measures are also enhanced with an AVAST-based virus scanner, and built-in App Lock and File Safe settings to secure important files.

Huawei P10 Philippines: A Sophisticated and Feature-Filled Smartphone

If you want a phone that is as elegant as the iPhone 6s, then the Huawei P10 will be an ideal choice for you.The P10 comes with a sophisticated design and gives you the barebones in terms of features and specifications. Here are the key features of this flagship smartphone from Huawei.

Elegant Design

Side by side, the Huawei P10 resembles the iPhone 6S in terms of design. So, if you prefer the iPhone design but not its other features like the camera, then the P10 is your ideal choice. It also comes with rounded corners that make it comfortable in the hand. On the right-hand side comes the power button which looks distinct to the volume rocker beside it, so you won’t confuse the two buttons. There’s also the single speaker driver, the 3.5 mm headphone jack, and the USB-C port found on the bottom edge of the phone. The back of the handset displays an all-metal exterior which looks sleek and elegant. As for the display, the Huawei sports a full HD 5.1-inch screen with 1080x1920 pixel resolution, which is bright and visible in strong sunlight.

Neat Interface and Powerful Hardware

With the latest Android 7.0 Nougat and the Emotion UI 5.1 software, the P10’s home screens look similar to iOS and can be organized with the use of an app drawer in the settings. Also, just like other Huawei models, the P10 is integrated with a HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor which allows you to run demanding games and apps without the slow loading times and app crashes.

Decent Battery Life

There’s a slight step up in the battery life for the P10 over its predecessor, from the 3,000 mAh in the P9 to the 3200 mAh battery in the P10. With that small difference, you can do extra mobile activities and tasks. Also, the USB-C port comes with a fast-charging support so your device’s battery will be fully charged in less than a couple of hours.

Brighter photos

The Huawei P9 introduced the Leica optics on its dual camera setting, and it’s used again for the P10. The P10 also hosts dual camera sensors at 20MP and 12MP pixel resolutions, just like the P9. Despite the similarities with the P9, the P10 shows improvements in terms of the camera's aperture. It is now equipped with a wider aperture that provides brighter photos, especially in an environment with a good lighting. Meanwhile, the P10’s selfie camera hosts an 8 MP sensor that produces good images. With that, you won’t be embarrassed to upload photos on social media.
