About Nikon D5500 Philippines

Nikon D5500 Philippines: If It’s Not Nikon, It’s Not On

Housing a decent 24.2-megapixel camera sensor, a strong noise reduction capability, and an above-average level of handling, the Nikon D5500 is a DSLR worthy of praise. Being housed in smaller and lighter body and frame from the predecessor, the D5300, the D5500 is 60g lighter and dimensionally smaller with the dimensions of 124x97x70mm. The camera offers a deeper grip in the handler which allows a more comfortable and firmer hold. The D5500 is crafted of a carbon fiber composite that is also reinforced with fiber-reinforced plastic. What it means here is that Nikon had successfully designed this camera to use less materials while still making it stronger than its predecessors.

Entry Level DSLR, High Quality Captures: A Nikon D5500 Feature

The Nikon D5500 features a touchscreen display that would allow you to use touch focusing in Live View and also as a platform for manual controls when you take stills with the viewfinder. Furthermore, the touchscreen is housed in a very flexible hinge that allows you to fold it out on a variety of angles. Performance base, the Nikon D5500 houses the Expeed 4 processor, the Multi-CAM 4800DX module (which gives you 39 AF points), nine cross-type, and the ability to reach ISO 3200. The native sensitivity of the camera lies in between 100-25,600 thanks to the 18-55mm kit lens. The Nikon D5500 can also record videos at 1080p 60 frames per second, though it can’t really reach 4K capabilities yet. With the ability to record videos, the D5500 has a stereo microphone built in with a hotshoe up to top n which can mount the microphone for easier and more accurate coverage. The Nikon D5500 is ranked to be one of the top APS-C cameras in the market, thanks to its excellent color tone. You are made to be able to capture drab grey horizons that actually looks vibrant as a still.

Should You Own It?

If you are looking for a camera that’s professional in handling but easy-going at the same time, the Nikon D5500 has all that you virtually need. Being able to shoot at odd angles and being able to handle and grip the camera better are additional features that could woo you into owning it. All-in-all, with the inclusion of the touchscreen that acts both as a display and as a manual control platform, you can never go wrong with it!
