Nikon D7200 Philippines - Living up to its Heritage
Over decades, Nikon has perfected the art of photography. That said, the Nikon D7200 is not for everyone. Those who love doing camera tricks and play around with lighting will still get their money’s worth, but the most value will be achieved when shooting moving subjects. This is thanks to the Nikon D7200’s incredibly fast shutter speeds.
Fast shutter speeds
Unlike its older brother the D7100, the Nikon D7200 upgrades its frame rate to 6fps and 7fps in 1.3x crop mode. Shooting in 14-RAW will reduce the frame rate to 5fps. The basic AF layout is the same on the D7200 as it was on the D7100, with 51 points, but AF sensitivity is upgraded to -3EV for quicker burst shots on moving subjects. This is thanks to the Multi-Cam 3500DX-II AF system.
What these upgraded speeds translate to is basically a quicker focusing time from one subject to another. You won’t need to hold still to get the sharpest image of your moving subject. Simply rest your index finger on the shutter button and you’ve got multiple clear shots in an instant. With shutter speeds up to 1/8000 sec, you won’t have to worry about capturing your target image.
Everything you need in a DSLR
Nikon knows what every photographer needs. That is why the Nikon D7200 comes with built-in Wi-Fi, EXPEED 4 image-processing engine and 24.2 megapixels for a start. Keeping true to its wide range of ISO, you get a large 100 to 25600 ISO. This enables you to shoot in near darkness! To add on to the goodies, you get an integrated 3.2-inch touchscreen that doubles as a viewfinder. Access all your photos with just a few clicks from the touchscreen. Optional features include GPS, external flash and kit lenses.
Speaking of lenses, the Nikon D7200 comes with a 1.5x multi-focal Nikkor lens mounted on the Nikon F lens mount. The lens does the job of keeping images crisp along with all the above-mentioned specs. So, is the Nikon D7200 for you? Simply put, Yes! If you’re looking for a DSLR both for entry-level or professional use, the D7200 is the one you want!
