Nokia E72 Philippines: A Phone Worthy of Praise

Comparing the features of the likes of the Blackberry Bold 9700 and the Blackberry Bold 9000, the Nokia E72 stands as a strong competitor in being a leading phone with professional functions and a fully functional full keyboard layout. The E72 comes with a sexy design of chrome trimmings around the edge and a metal battery cover with etched vertical lines that allow easier and firmer grip and an elegant feel.

You will also see a 3.5mm audio jack on the top of the phone and a microUSB slot for charging and file management/transfer. The keyboard of the E72 features bubble-style keys and also a layout of function keys that control the calendar, address book, and inbox. The central D-Pad allows you to navigate the menus with thumb swipes which is a great addition to allow more control to the user.

The E72 comes in with a non-touch display of a 320x240 resolution and can produce up to 16 million colors—allowing you to see pictures and watch videos in a crisp manner. Coming equipped with the Series 60 operating system which allows good multitasking support and other great features like the variety of navigation software. Another prominent feature of the E72 is the messaging system. Allowing you to multitask between your emails, text messages, and message applications in a smooth and flawless manner helps in making the E72 a great messaging phone.

Upgraded to a 5MP camera from its predecessor, the E72 hosts autofocus, LED flash, a variety of scene modes, and a nifty panoramic shooting mode. Like other Nokia phones, the E72 has excellent call quality, along with Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0 EDR and support for HSDPA. You can also get up to 3 days of standby mode on a full charge with the E72. That’s impressive.

Should You Own It?

You could easily be fawning over the Nokia E72 because of its many features, a brilliant keyboard, and excellent messaging system. You will get an upgraded camera for clean and crisp pictures and videos, an upgraded optical joystick for added comfort in handling, and a beautiful albeit small screen to work on. The E72 is truly a phone worthy of praise not only because of its features but also because of the effort Nokia has put into launching it.
