Nokia Lumia 435 in Philippines

Nokia Lumia 435 – The Definitive Budget Smartphone for First-Time Users

In its efforts to offer a reliable budget smartphone to consumers, Nokia has introduced the Lumia 435, which will also be supporting Windows 10. Despite being the cheapest of all the Microsoft phones in the market, it still packs a punch. Even though this phone is built targeting the budget smartphone consumer and first-time smartphone users, the Lumia 435 still packs a punch when it comes to the specs that it offers.

Built with Nokia’s Hallmark Features

Nokia has always been known for building phones with a sturdy design that is capable of withstanding more knocks and falls compared to many other smartphones in the market – be it in similar range or in the higher tiers. The Lumia 435 is also equipped with this hallmark feature. The exterior of the Lumia 435 is a plastic shell with rounded edges and a black bezel around its screen. The plastic cover enables it to take a few hard knocks, protecting the innards from physical harm.

Staying true to the Lumia lineage, the covers are made of plastic and are vibrantly coloured. They are also swappable, so you can interchange the covers according to your mood of the day or to match your #ootd. Nevertheless, they are still capable of giving the Lumia 435 a premium look albeit its low price – making it a fun, durable and well-built smartphone at budget price.

How May I Assist You?

The Lumia 435 comes equipped with Microsoft’s version of a virtual assistant, known as Cortana. With Cortana, you can search for any information you require via Microsoft’s signature Bing search engine. You can either activate the search mechanism via typing manually on the search tab or via voice command. The app launches quite smoothly on the Lumia 435, and it will display any relevant news on a day-to-day basis, based on the topics of interests that you have pre-selected.

Heard a familiar tune yet unable to recall the title? Not to worry – Cortana sports a decent music recognition functionality that is pretty accurate. Hence, you can use this function to detect that catchy song that you have always wanted to know about. Other functions the Cortana offers also include looking for nearby events based on your interests, and also reminding you of your daily schedule.

OneDrive to Rule Them All

The Lumia 435 also provides a fluid and easy connectivity to your OneDrive. The OneDrive is Microsoft’s equivalent of the Dropbox or Google Drive and with the Office functionality equipped in the Lumia 435, connecting to your files on OneDrive is smooth and hassle-free – enabling to be continuously productive even if you are on-the-go.
