Samsung J2 Specs, Price, and Review - Philippines

Samsung J2: A compact yet feature-packed phone

The Samsung Galaxy J2 is a small entry-level smartphone, but don't let that lead you to believe that it offers an underwhelming performance. The Samsung J2 packs a mighty quad-core processor that's clocked at 1.3 GHz in its tiny little form. With its 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, it lets you enjoy watching high definition videos and playing mobile gaming.

Compact display

In the competitive smartphone world, a compact display of only 4.7 inch feels incredibly special and unique. It's so small that it fits easily into any pockets or bags without taking up a lot of space. The small display also looks exceptionally sharp when displaying your content.

Great camera

The little Samsung J2 is also equipped with a very humble 5 Megapixel camera with a f/2.2 aperture. The larger aperture allows the 5 Megapixel camera to capture a brighter high-quality photograph with very little noise artefact throughout – even in low light conditions and rooms. On the front, there is a 2 Megapixel camera for all the great selfies. It is also adequate for most video calls.

Great slim design

The Samsung Galaxy J2 comes in a very small compact design. It has rounded edges that feel nice in the palm of your hands. It's form won't cause a bump in your pockets. On the rear of the Galaxy J2 is a textured rear cover that feels unbelievably great to the touch.

The J2 also comes in three different colours: Gold, White, and Black.

Smart manager application

The Samsung J2 smartphone also comes with the Smart Manager application. The Smart Manager allows the user to check battery information, storage status, memory status, as well as access security settings. The many different statuses allow the user to monitor their phone's well being and easily clear off any junk or unused applications that may reside in the smartphone.

Store more with expandable storage

The Samsung J2 comes with 8 GB of internal storage. While that may be enough for most average users, others may find that it will be not enough with more than a few applications installed, photographs taken, and also music files. Fortunately, the Samsung Galaxy J2 comes with a micro SD card slot that can take up to a massive 128 GB micro SD card to expand the storage.

For the price, i don't think the specs are worth it. Maybe if you plan to give this to a younger or older family member for communication purposes only. It is not built for heavy-spec apps

Brilliant mid-range phone
I love the fact that samsung caters to all markets. I couldn't afford their latest phones but I can always afford the older ones and their mid-range varieties like this one.
