Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro Now Available in Malaysia

14 July 2017
Jonathan So

Samsung has released its Galaxy J7 Pro smartphone for the Malaysian market starting today, together with its siblings in the Galaxy J Pro series, the J3 Pro, and the J5 Pro.

“Built with the minimalist in mind yet featuring impressive features to enhance users' daily experience, the Galaxy J7 Pro is an ideal device for users of any age,” as said by Hosea Heen, head of Samsung Malaysia Electronics Mobile Business, in a statement to The Star.

The smartphone boasts improved features especially in terms of their design, camera functions, battery life, and internal storage capacity. The device also features a 2.5D glass and metal unibody to resemble the South Korean brand’s flagship devices. The expanded internal storage means that users will be able to install more apps, games, and media files on the smartphone.

In terms of the camera, the device is equipped with a 13MP rear camera. Samsung has enhanced its functionality to ensure that users’ mobile photography experience is elevated, especially in low-light conditions. It also has an intuitive interface that enables one-handed functionality for easier photo-taking.

The Galaxy J7 Pro also comes with dual SIM slots so that you can support two phone lines in a single device. MicroSD slots are also available for users who might want to expand the storage further, up to 256GB. Combined with its 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage, the Galaxy J7 Pro ensures high responsiveness and smooth overall performance.

As part of Samsung’s effort to boost sales for the smartphone and to continue the hype for the upcoming release of the Galaxy Note 8, Samsung Malaysia is including a year of extended warranty for the device and 1 year of screen crack protection for units that are bought before 30 September.

The Galaxy J7 Pro is available at all Samsung Experience Stores and is available in five colours – Blue, Silver, Pink, Black, and Gold. The smartphone is currently being sold at RM1,299, inclusive of GST.

Indeed, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro is one of the few budget smartphones that can maintain the right balance of price and performance.

With its 5.5 inch FHD Super AMOLED display screen, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro promises to offer beautifully tantalizing visuals in terms of depth and detail. Since it utilizes Super AMOLED technology, this means that you will be able to enjoy sharper and clearer display quality. Furthermore, it is amazing that you can view your smartphone even under direct sunlight. Moreover, this Samsung smartphone provides excellent viewing angle as well.

Utilizing Exynos 7870 octa-core chipset, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro provides seamless performance that enables you to run any apps smoothly. Designed to operate efficiently, it can offer solid performance without consume a lot of power during its operation. Basically, you can trust your Samsung smartphone to run several apps simultaneously or multitasking without any hiccups. For your graphic needs, it uses the amazing Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. Regarding storage, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro comes with 64GB of internal memory but you can always expand to 256GB by using a microSD card.

One of the best things about this Samsung smartphone is that it boasts a massive 3600mAh Li-ion battery. Thanks to large battery power, you can expect to run and enjoy using your smartphone up to a day. After looking at all of its specifications, there is no doubt that it is one of the few budget smartphones that bears serious firepower.
