Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Tablet Prices, Specs, and Features in the Philippines

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 - A Basic Tablet with Exciting Features

Samsung is one of the most popular tech companies in the world today. For years, the brand has developed tons of different gadgets including their iconic tablet - the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. First released in 2012, you would consider this tablet to be an antique when it comes to specs and features. It is powered by a dual-core processor with a 3-MP camera and 1GB of RAM which is still good enough for running basic apps such as Facebook, Instagram, chat apps, text messaging, and browsing the web. While not all would be satisfied with its powers, it is still an iconic tablet that opened a lot of doors for Samsung.

Exciting Features

This Samsung Tab has tons of exciting components including a “Find my Phone” features which allow you to locate your tablet if it’s lost and remotely wipe it if necessary. Besides that, it is also one of the first Samsung devices to feature an OTG port so that you can connect a USB on it without hooking it up to a computer. Thanks to its OTG capabilities, you can also attach a USB HID keyboard as well as a mice to make it function like a computer.

Camera

In terms of camera, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 has a 3.5MP primary camera with geo-tagging and smile detection. It can capture good snapshots and video at 720p@30fps. The secondary camera is a VGA which is good enough for video-chatting. Although the camera is not as good as a performer compared to other tablets today, however, it was the prime of its day 6 years ago.

Battery

The one thing that allows this Samsung tablet to compete with other gadgets in its category is its battery. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is powered by a non-removable 4000mAh Li-ion battery - even the latest smartphones don’t have as much. In a single charge, you can use it for as long as you can during the day and would still have plenty of battery!
