Sony Xperia E4 Philippines: Simple Yet Promising Smartphone

Processing Power

The Sony Xpria E4 runs with a MediaTek MT658 chipset which is equipped with a Quad-core A7 cortex that’s clocked at 1.3GHz. It GPU is Mali-400MP2, a graphic processor that’s sufficient enough to run light to moderate graphic demanding applications and games. It also comes with 1GB RAM, giving it the capability to do moderate to heavy multitasking.

Standard Display

The Sony Xperia E4 flaunts a standard IPS LCD screen with a 540 x 960-pixel resolution with a pixel density of 220 pixels-per-inch. The display quality is nothing special because it’s appropriate for its category and price range.

This phone is packed with a 2400 mAh non-removable battery. The phone has a power saver feature which would allow users to maximize its battery. The battery can sustain the phone for up 3 days on standby mode, while 9 hours of video playback, 11 hours of talk time, and 16 hours of web browsing.

One of the perks of this phone is the LTE connectivity. Only a few entry level devices are equipped with LTE technology and this phone is one of those. The Xperia E4 also come in two variants – the dual sim and the single sim.

User Interface

This phone comes with Android 4.4.4 KitKat and flavored with Sony Xperia’s signature launcher. One of the neat features that comes with this phone is its face detection capability which is integrated into their lock screen, providing users more ways to unlock and secure their phone.

This phone uses a 5MP camera sensor with an LED flash on the side. The camera resolution is quite outdated but it doesn’t mean it can’t produce decent quality photos. Besides, the phone is an entry level device and the price tag that comes with it pretty much tells not to expect a ground breaking camera. Despite that, its camera is one of the most decent features of the phone as it produces good quality photos and it comes with auto focus and face detection features.
