Sony Xperia XA Specs, Price, and Review - Philippines

Sony Xperia XA – Good deal for the price

Thinner, lighter and more stylish compared to the other Sony Xperia X models, the XA moves into a different category altogether. Born into the mid-range segment of smartphones, the Sony Xperia XA boasts impressive specifications.

Premium configuration

Much like most Sony Xperia models, the Xperia XA sports an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that comes with a scratch-resistant glass with 16M colours. Featuring Nao-SIM technology, the Sony Xperia XA is technologically advanced. Android OS v6.0.1 (Marshmallow) performs at optimum level with the Octa-core (4x2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4x1.0 GHz Cortex-A53) CPU on the MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 CPU.

Camera specs and more

As is with most Sony Xperia models, the camera becomes a highlight of the device. Featuring a rear 13 MP f/2.0 shooter that comes with phase detection autofocus and LED flash along with a 1/3" sensor size, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR and panorama modes to customize your photos. HD video with 1080p@30fps is also possible. The front shooter is an 8MP f/2.0 1/4” sensor with autofocus.

As for power, the Sony Xperia XA comes with a Li-Ion 2300 mAh battery that keeps the device running throughout the day on a single charge. Although not as strong as its siblings in the Xperia X series, the XA offers adequate battery life given its price point. Fast battery charging is also an interesting feature in the XA.

Other notable features

The device itself comes in white, graphite black, lime gold, and rose gold hues – select one that suits your style and personality. In addition, the device also has sensors such as accelerometer, proximity and compass. Of course, connectivity options are also present such as Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and Wi-Fi capabilities.

Overall the Sony Xperia XA is one unique smartphone in the Philippines market. If you are looking for a smartphone that can make you stand out from the crowd, you might want to consider the Sony Xperia XA.
