Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X in the Philippines – An Upgraded Experience

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X is the upgraded version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 that was released in 2017. The upgrade includes a better processor, the best cameras, the smoothest performance, the most powerful battery, and more. It’s the perfect smartphone for those looking for a gadget that is straight to the point, functional, efficient, and easy on the eyes.

The Processor

The biggest difference between the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X is the Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625. It uses one of the most advanced 14nm FinFet technology to make your phone 20% more efficient no matter how intense and frequent you use your Xiaomi smartphone.

The Memory

The Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor is then paired with a 4GB RAM also with a 14nm FinFET technology. With the help of the advanced processor, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is able to deliver better thermal reduction whenever you’re playing your mobile games, watching your videos, and other heavy applications.

The Battery

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X may be slim, but it packs a powerful punch with its 4100mAh battery. Along with the Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, you’re able to efficiently use your phone while maintaining the performance of your battery. This means less trip to the Xiaomi service center to replace your battery after years of usage.

The Design

Although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X is a mid-range smartphone, the design of the phone is on par with other, more expensive smartphones. The smartphone is curved around the corners and the phone uses a 2.5D curved glass on top of its 5-inch HD display with a 1280 x 720 resolution to kick the aesthetic up a notch. The glossy separation lines on the rear are made of anodized aluminum along with a CNC finish. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X is available in black, gold, and dark grey so you can easily match your phone with your personal style.

The Camera

Xiaomi uses a 13-megapixel CMOIS camera on this smartphone which can reduce noise and detect more light even in dark environments. It has backside illumination (BSI) and bigger pixels to let more light go through the lens of the cameras. In addition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X camera has a Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) feature that will lock in on your subjects in just 0.1 seconds even if they’re moving around.

The Interface

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X comes with MIUI 8 interface that can do a lot more than many other mid-range smartphones can’t. With the MIUI 8, you can easily duplicate your apps with the Dual Apps feature so you can sign in using different accounts on the same messaging platform. This will make it easier for you to separate your professional and personal conversations just by a touch of a button.

In our experience the best way to get a cheap phone is to buy it SIM-free then grab a great-value SIM-only deal. You won't be paying £50-odd per month for a phone for the next two years, and you can swap it for a newer model whenever you fancy it. All t...
