Michael Gondry, the acclaimed director of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, returns with the wildly imaginative and fanciful The Science of Sleep. Like his previous film, Gondry blurs the real and the surreal with a dream-like narrative and frantically colorful and beautiful visuals. Starring Gael Garcia Bernal and Charlotte Gainsbourg, the film follows the dreaming and waking moments of a confused, lovelorn young man as his real and imagined worlds begin to chaotically and desperately collide. Gael Garcia Bernal, continuing to show he is one of the most talented young actors in world cinema, takes a complex and potentially off-putting character and gives him a painfully identifiable core under the quirky affectations. The Science of Sleep makes for a charmingly innovative and romantic film, not to mention a resounding testament to all the amazing things one can do with cardboard. Stephane (Gael Garcia Bernal) is a dreamer. Having recently moved from Mexico back to France, he works a dead-end job at a calendar company and lives a thoroughly mundane life. But in his dreams, everything takes on new colors. He is empowered to say and do things he doesn't do in reality. He hosts a musical television show about his life, philosophizing about people, memories, and experiences in frantic excitement. His dreams, however, often creep into reality, making it difficult for him and the people around him to figure out what's real and what's not. As he becomes increasingly obsessed with neighbor Stephanie (Charlotte Gainsbourg), his grasp on reality begins to slip away.

Comedy king Stephen Chow emphatically reclaimed his throne during the 2016 Lunar New Year period with the blockbuster fantasy romance comedy Mermaid, which broke every Chinese box office record on the books on its way towards becoming the biggest Chinese film of all time. Besides its record-breaking box office, Mermaid garnered positive reviews from audiences and critics alike hailing the return of Stephen Chow-style comedy. Chow's off-the-wall modern-day fairy tale revolves around an innocent mermaid on a mission to assassinate the businessman destroying her home, but the plan falls to the wayside amid side-tickling gags. Starring breakout newcomer Jelly Lin, Deng Chao (The Four), Show Luo (Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons) and Kitty Zhang (CJ7) with cameo appearances from Tsui Hark, Wen Zhang and Kris Wu, the magical tale is filled with Chow's signature nonsensical humor, a heartfelt love story and strong environmental themes. Rich and rude businessman Liu Xuan (Deng Chao) is raking in the money through a sea reclamation and redevelopment project on the coast of Green Gulf. To secure the environmental seal of approval, he uses a sonar device to drive ocean creatures away from the coast. Unbeknownst to the world, however, Green Gulf is the home of the merpeople. The sonar device has gravely injured the mermaid population and forced what remains of them out of the sea and into an abandoned bunker where they plot to take out Liu Xuan in order to reclaim their home. Their grand plan is to send out young mermaid Shan (Jelly Lin) into the human world to seduce and kill Liu Xuan. With her strange shuffling walk and backwaters naivete, Shan succeeds in attracting Liu Xuan's attention but unexpectedly, they find themselves falling in love with each other. Note: 3D television, 3D Blu-ray player and 3D glasses are required to view the 3D version of the film.

After tackling genres like dark comedy and even family melodrama, director Pang Ho Cheung further extends the range of his filmography with the controversial slasher thriller Dream Home, also the explosive debut of 852 Films, founded by actress Josie Ho, actor-musician Conroy Chan, and Andrew Ooi. As co-producer and star, Ho takes on the role of a lifetime as a woman who will do just about anything to get her hands on her dream property. Pang - who co-write the script with Derek Tsang and Jimmy Wan (Isabella) - cleverly breaks the story into fragments, inserting calm scenes of drama in between disturbing sequences of bloody carnage. Filled with disembowelments, slicing, and more ways of using household products than anyone would care to know, the film's extreme violence is so intense that walkouts and faintings have been reported at screenings around the world. However, Dream Home is more than just blood and guts. Chronicling the frustrations of an average Hong Kong citizen trying to own a home in the city's out-of-control real estate market, Dream Home is as much an extremely dark comedy as it is an angry indictment of contemporary Hong Kong. On a quiet night, a woman breaks into the prestigious No. 1 Victoria Bay residential building and brutally murders its security guard. The ensuing flashbacks reveal that the woman is Sheung (Josie Ho), an average white-collar worker trying to save money for a unit in No. 1 Victoria Bay, despite her father's illness and the lack of support from her married boyfriend (Eason Chan). However, in a city where real estate prices continue to rise at an out-of-control pace, Sheung's opportunity is taken away by her unit's money-hungry owners. Determined to get her dream home, Sheung is forced to secure her home via the most extreme way possible - by murdering those that live near the flat (played by Michelle Ye, Sin Lap Man, Derek Tsang, Phat Chan, and Juno Mak). This edition features the Hong Kong theatrical cut and comes with deleted scenes.

Following the box office success of 2013's Finding Mr. Right, stars Tang Wei and Wu Xiubo and director Xue Xiaolu come together again for the romantic feature Book of Love, which proved to be another big hit. Spanning three continents, this brand new story of love and letters revolves around two people, half a world apart, serendipitously connected by Helene Hanff's classic novel 84, Charing Cross Road. Jiao Ye (Tang Wei) is a sassy casino worker in Macau who longs for love, but has her hands full dealing with her father's leftover debt and her own gambling problem. Daniel (Wu Xiubo) is a commitment-averse real estate agent in Los Angeles who specializes in selling properties to wealthy Chinese. These two strangers on opposite sides of the world each happen to acquire a copy of 84, Charing Cross Road, and blame their recent bad luck on the book. On a whim, both Jiao Ye and Daniel decide to get rid of the book by sending it to 84 Charing Cross Road in London. However, Mr. Thomas, the shopkeeper at 84 Charing Cross Road, swaps their books and sends them back. Surprised to receive another copy of the book back, Jiao Ye and Daniel reply through letter and Mr. Thomas forwards their correspondence to each other. Thus begins a pen-pal relationship that starts out testy but comes to hold increasing meaning as they gradually fall in love without ever having met each other.

My Sassy Girl's Jeon Ji Hyun makes her English-language debut in the 2009 fantasy action thriller Blood: The Last Vampire directed by Chris Nahon (Kiss of the Dragon). Based on the same-titled 2000 animated feature, Blood revolves around a mysterious female slayer who battles hordes of vampires in postwar Japan. Billed under her English name Gianna, Jeon Ji Hyun dons the trademark pigtails and sailor suit uniform for a tough-as-nails turn as the katana-wielding heroine. Playing Jeon's arch-nemesis is another crossover Asian star, popular Japanese actress Koyuki from The Last Samurai. Featuring impressive CG effects and sword and wirework action choreographed by Corey Yuen (Red Cliff), Blood: The Last Vampire presents a gritty, gothic world of fantastical adventure and thrilling action. Though she looks like a teenage girl, Saya (Jeon Ji Hyun) has actually been hunting bloodsuckers for centuries. Allied with a top-secret government organization, Saya's only goal is to track down Onigen, the most powerful of all vampires. Her quest brings her to a US military airbase which has seen numerous vampire attacks. Saya goes undercover at the local high school to investigate, but all hell breaks loose when classmate and general's daughter Alice (Allison Miller) discovers her identity. Much blood is shed and vampires slayed as Saya's dark past is slowly revealed, bringing her closer than ever to Onigen.

Johnnie To teams up with Sylvia Chang to bring the latter's play to the big screen in Office! In 2008, Chang and stage director Edward Lam debuted Design for Living in Shenzhen. Written by and starring Chang herself, the play went on to run another 82 shows to massive acclaim. Towards the end of its run, Chang began bouncing around the idea of adapting the script to film as a musical, and the wheels were set in motion when To expressed interest in directing. The partners then assembled a truly star-studded cast in Eason Chan, Chow Yun Fat and Tang Wei, as well as newcomers Wang Zi Yi and Lang Yue Ting. For the all-important music, Chang and To enlisted the efforts of the iconic Luo Dayou. Lee Seung (Wang Zi Yi), newly hired at Jones & Sunn, enters the billion-dollar company with all the hope and bright-eyed idealism youth affords. However, he soon finds that this new world is much more complicated than he first thought, with a myriad of illicit relationships, including one between the company chairman (Chow Yun Fat) and the CEO (Sylvia Chang), and the cutthroat world of finance laid bare before his eyes as Jones & Sunn prepares to go public.

Kam, the Hong Kong prostitute with a heart of gold, returns as a tech-savvy madam in Golden Chickensss 12 years after the iconic film series' first installment. Sandra Ng plays a warm-hearted madam who sends her proteges to fulfill the desires and personal favors of clientele while chronicling the changes of the big city. The cameo-filled comedy is less sentimental compared to the previous two films but a lot more outrageous with Sandra's eye-popping figure and some over-the-top showbiz inside jokes. Working as a call girl since she was sixteen, Kam (Sandra Ng) is now a madam with many young girls under her wings. A regular face among the rich and powerful, Kam is fonder of the past when Hong Kong was still under British rule. Gordon (Nick Cheung), the mafia boss whom Kam had a crush on, is released from jail almost two decades after Hong Kong's Handover back to China, and has a hard time coming to terms with the new face of the city. Get ready to swing! From the makers of Shall We Dance? and Waterboys comes Swing Girls, an inspirational zero-to-hero tale about a group of girls who find their rhythm - and then some! Tomoko (Ueno Juri) leads a group of bored girls stuck in remedial summer math class, who decide to ditch their boring teacher (Takenaka Naoto) to deliver lunches to the school brass band. But the girls' extreme laziness causes the lunches to spoil, and soon nearly the entire brass band gets sick. The remaining member is Takuo (Hiraoka Yuto), who recruits Tomoko's classmate Sekiguchi (Motokariya Yuika) into the band, even though Sekiguchi's musical talents are entirely in question. But Tomoko and the other girls soon follow, partly to get out of math class, and partly because it's their fault that the entire band got sick in the first place! But there's a catch: nobody knows how to play a wind or brass instrument, much to the dismay of Takuo, who proposes that the girls play swing band jazz - and take their act all the way to a battle-of-the-bands finale! Will the girls find a way to swing like tested jazz musicians, or will they discover that maybe math isn't so bad?Directed by Yaguchi Shinobu (Waterboys), Swing Girls struck a chord with audiences thanks to its feel-good emotions and energetic cast of young girls, and ranked eighth at the Japanese box office for 2004. Like the characters they play, many of the actors were strangers to their instruments when filming began, and learned to play as filming went on! Full of humor, heart, and more than a little satisfying irreverence, Swing Girls is a toe-tapping, crowd-pleasing good time at the movies!

How far is an upstanding cop willing to go to make sure justice is realized? That is the very question the cop played by superstar Andy Lau is faced with in hit action thriller Firestorm. Written and directed by Shaolin scriptwriter Alan Yuen, the riveting story follows the cop's desperate hunt for a gang of dangerous thieves and the struggles of an ex-convict (Gordon Lam) trying to resist the temptation of the crime world. The intense drama in the first two-thirds of the film culminates into an astonishing finale rarely seen in the history of Hong Kong cinema: An explosive shootout set in the busy streets of Hong Kong. On the surface, Cao Nan (Hu Jun) appears to be an art dealer, but he's really a notorious robber who has been successful at avoiding being charged by the police. Lui (Andy Lau) is one of the upstanding police officers who has been after him. During their latest attempt to catch Cao in the act, Lui's arrest is disrupted by Bong (Gordon Lam), an ex-convict who happens to be Lui's former classmate. Despite the objections of his loving girlfriend (Yao Chen), Bong has returned to working for Lui's gang upon his release from prison. Even though Lui is forced to let Cao Nan go once more, his informant (Philip Keung) has agreed to go undercover in Lui's gang, despite the dangers involved. However, the consequences will drive Lui to the edge as his determination to catch Cao begins to overshadow his moral judgement. This edition includes making of and trailers.

Before 2005's Sympathy for Lady Vengeance and 2003's Old Boy, there was Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, filmmaker Park Chan-Wook's startling first installment in what would later become known as the director's "Vengeance Trilogy." Released in 2002, the film kicks off by detailing the plight of Ryu (Shin Ha-Kyun), a green-haired deaf mute who dutifully cares for his ailing elder sister. Without the proper medical attention, however she is bound to die of kidney failure, and since there's no suitable donor in sight, Ryu decides to turn to the black market for help, selling his kidney in exchange for a fresh one for his sister. Sadly, when Ryu awakens from the surgery, he learns that he's been swindled not only out of his life savings, but his kidney as well! Even worse, he soon learns from the doctors that a donor has been found, and that all he needs to do is put up the money for the transplant! With no legal way to come up with the cash, Ryu and his girlfriend Cha Yeong-Mi (Bae Doo-Na), decide to abduct the daughter of Park Dong-Jin (Song Kang-Ho), a wealthy industrialist and Ryu's former boss. The plan is simple: hold her hostage until Dong-Jin pays the ransom. And things seem to be going smoothly, that is - until a fatal accident turns this "simple plan" into an all-out nightmare for Ryu and Yeong Mi. Little did they expect that their scheme would go so very, very wrong and cause a seemingly normal man to spin out of control, blazing a trail of vengeance from which neither party may survive!

Being invited to Cannes and the Venice Film Festival, The 2002 Korean docudrama "Too Young to Die" shocks all with a real story about an ageing couple Park Chi-gyu and Lee Sun-ye. Their youthfulness, the powerful feelings they cherish for each other and not lastly their unusually active sex life are all explored in this controversial movie without reservation. Director Park Jin-pyo first met the 73-year-old Park Chi-gyu and his 72-year-old partner Lee Sun-ye while making a TV documentary last year. Struck by their youthfulness, the strength of their feelings for each other and, not least, by their remarkably active sex life, he proposed filming this docu-drama, in which they re-enact their first meeting, their current lives together and the high and low points of their relationship. The film (shot as simply as possible on DV) deliberately avoids going into their personal histories and backgrounds (both have outlived their spouses and both have grandchildren), the better to focus on their intense commitment to each other and their fears of being apart. Only one episode in the film is pure documentary: the sequence at a folk-song competition, which they win with a performance of "The Song of Youth". But all of it feels entirely truthful, including the charmingly uninhibited scenes on the futon.

Based on writer Lilian Lee's best-selling novels, the two-part Tales from the Dark series revitalizes Hong Kong's horror movie genre. Featuring a star-studded cast, the first half of the series, Tales from the Dark 1, comprises three short stories put together by three different directors. Actor-turned-director Simon Yam's directorial debut opens the omnibus, followed by Lee Chi Ngai (Magic Kitchen) and Fruit Chan (Dumplings Three...Extremes). In "Dirty Goods," Simon Yam plays a down-and-out middle-aged man who resorts to stealing ashes from the graveyard and asking for a ransom from the departed's loved ones. Lee Chi Ngai's "A Word in the Palm" tells a tragic story of an illicit teacher-student relationship. A fortune-teller (Kelly Chen) joins hands with a feng shui master (Tony Leung Ka Fai) to help the schoolgirl's vengeful spirit who knocks on his door for help on his last day of business. Fruit Chan's finale "Jingzhe" depicts a night when three strange customers visit an old lady (Siu Yam Yam) for "villain hitting" demon-exorcising services.

Having already proven his acting chops and box office draw with the blockbusters Initial D and Curse of the Golden Flower, Taiwanese singer Jay Chou makes his directorial debut with the romantic drama Secret. In addition to starring and directing, Chou came up with the original story and music for the film and he proves to be remarkably assured on all counts, making Secret one of the most pleasant surprises of 2007. While the director himself is still a relative newcomer to acting, co-stars Anthony Wong and Guey Lun Mei (Blue Gate Crossing) are both extremely talented actors, with Guey giving an especially captivating performance as the film's mysterious female lead. Chou also smartly plays to his own strengths by displaying his piano skills on screen and enlisting friends Yu Hao, Zhang Jie, and Devon of Nan Quan Mama as supporting cast. An affecting mix of puppy love, suspense, and wistful tunes, this sweet, subtle, and engaging film adds another notch to Chairman Chou's long list of accomplishments. High school student Jay (Jay Chou) just transferred to the school that his father (Anthony Wong) is teaching at. On his first day, he meets cute and coy classmate Rain (Guey Lun Mei) in the piano room. The two immediately hit it off and develop a shy romance around piano playing and bike riding. Despite their close relationship, Rain remains mysterious and distant as she is often absent from school and seems to be full of secrets. When Jay tries to inquire further, she whispers to him that she has a secret that cannot be spoken, a secret that can tear them apart. This edition comes with making of, theatrical trailer, photo gallery, and other extras.

Based on the novel Five Point Someone, the blockbuster comedy 3 Idiots follows the lives of three students in a prestigious engineering school and their struggles against its rigid, traditional system. Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan (Lagaan) stars as the outspoken Rancho, a talented engineering student who strongly believes that passion and creativity - not grades - should be the motivation for learning, even though the school's stubborn dean doesn't agree. Director Rajkumar Hirani presents a hilarious and genuinely moving journey that brings on the laughs as often as it touches the heart. A box office hit around the world (even in Taiwan), 3 Idiots is a critically acclaimed crowd-pleaser that transcends cultural borders. The musical sequences in the film may be uniquely Bollywood, but the issues it deals with are universal.

Genghis Khan conquers the big screen with the epic biopic Genghis Khan - To the Ends of the Earth and Sea (a.k.a. The Blue Wolf: To the Ends of the Earth and Sea)! Helmed by Sawai Shinichiro, the award-winning director of Kadokawa classics Tragedy of W and Early Spring Story, Genghis Khan is a grand production in every sense of the word. Shot entirely on location in the vast grasslands of Mongolia, this unprecedented co-production, made in commemoration of the 800th anniversary of the founding of Mongolia, employed a whopping 30 million yen budget and thousands of extras to stunningly recreate the spectacular battles and military feats of Genghis Khan. Five thousand real-life Mongolian Army soldiers appeared as extras for an epic battle scene, and 27,000 people were mobilized to shoot the enthronement ceremony. Sorimachi Takashi, who also starred in Kadokawa's 2005 blockbuster Yamato, plays with furious gusto the young warrior Temujin who would become the greatest khan Mongolia and the world has ever known, leaving behind him a legacy that would long outlast his empire. Adapted from a Morimura Seiichi novel, the film takes historical liberties but stays true to spirit in its depiction of the complicated figure that is Genghis Khan. Genghis Khan details both the khan's brave military exploits, his ruthless political machinations, and the personal episodes that shape his life - his friendship and eventual rivalry with Jamuqa (Hirayama Yusuke, Limit of Love: Uzimaru), his courtship of tribal princess Bolte (Kikukawa Rei, Install), his obsession with origin and lineage. One of the biggest titles of 2007, Genghis Khan is a larger-than-life film befitting a larger-than-life historical figure.

After 23 years and millions of copies sold worldwide, Murakami Haruki's landmark novel Norwegian Wood finally hits the big screen with Vietnamese director Tran Anh Hung (Scent of the Green Papaya) at the helm. Working with famed Taiwanese cinematographer Lee Ping Bin (In the Mood For Love) and a top-notch design team, Tran creates a visually gorgeous world for his recreation of Japan during the tumultuous 1960s. The film's award-winning cinematography (2010 Asian Film Awards) and hypnotic score (by Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood) serve as integral factors in visualizing Murakami's bittersweet tale about death, unrequited love, and sexual awakening. Previously thought to be impossible for a cinematic adaptation, Murakami himself offered comments on the script during the pre-production process, making this a rare officially approved adaptation of the author's work. Despite the challenging material, Norwegian Wood managed to attract some of Japan's most talented young actors, including Matsuyama Kenichi (Death Note) as protagonist Watanabe, Kikuchi Rinko (Babel) as the fragile Naoko, and model Mizuhara Kiko as the outgoing Midori in an acclaimed film debut. One of the most anticipated films of 2010, the film was given a high-profile spot in the competition section of the Venice Film Festival. Japan, late 1960s. After the suicide of his best friend Kizuki (Kora Kengo), Watanabe (Matsuyama Kenichi) goes out to Tokyo to attend university. By chance, he reunites with Kizuki's girlfriend Naoko (Kikuchi Rinko) in the city, bringing their dark past to the present. After spending one night together, Naoko suddenly suffers a mental breakdown and retreats to a hospital deep in the forest of Kyoto. While Watanabe continues to pine for the emotionally unstable mess that is Naoko, he also succumbs to the charm of outgoing classmate Midori (Mizuhara Kiko). Who will Watanabe choose in the end - Naoko the past, or Midori the future?

Three years after his English-language debut Stoker, award-winning filmmaker Park Chan Wook returns to Korean cinemas with the highly acclaimed erotic thriller The Handmaiden, which earned him his third Palme d'Or nomination at the Cannes Film Festival following Old Boy and Thirst. Starring Kim Min Hee (Right Now, Wrong Then) as a wealthy Japanese heiress, breakout newcomer Kim Tae Ri as a maid, Ha Jung Woo (Assassination) as a fake count and Jo Jin Woong (A Hard Day) as the heiress's uncle, the film is an adaptation of Welsh author Sarah Waters's notable lesbian crime novel Fingersmith about the love between a rich heiress and her maid. In 1930s Korea, Lady Hideko (Kim Min Hee), the sole heiress to her family fortune, lives with her uncle (Jo Jin Woong) in a luxurious mansion. In an attempt to seize the heiress's wealth, a swindler (Ha Jung Woo) poses as Count Fujiwara and hires pickpocket Sook Hee (Kim Tae Ri) to become her maid. Few people have made as big an impact on Korean cinema as Lee Chang Dong in the last ten years. A former novelist and scriptwriter of masterpieces like To the Starry Island, Lee made his debut in 1997 with Green Fish, which is arguably the best Korean gangster film of the last twenty years. Released in 2002, his third film, Oasis, was not only important for Lee himself, but for Korean cinema as a whole, as Moon So Ri's unforgettable performance in the film brought her a prize at the Venice Film Festival, along with one for director Lee. He's a former convict, she has cerebral palsy. Two outcasts at an isolated desert oasis. Hong Jong Du (Sol Kyung Gu) just got out of prison for a hit and run accident, and when he tries to contact the family of the victim, he meets Han Kong Ju (Moon So Ri), the daughter of the man he apparently killed. At first the two feel uncomfortable, but Kong Ju finds quickly he's the only one who truly respects her, despite the warnings from her family. Lily Franky's bestselling novel Tokyo Tower - Mom & Me, and Sometimes Dad has already spawned a drama special, a TV series, and a 2007 feature film starring Odagiri Joe. As the title suggests, the story focuses on a touching mother-son relationship amidst the lights of 1970s Tokyo. Without bells or whistles, Lily Franky's autobiography has sold over two million copies in Japan on the force of its nostalgic, heart-tugging story, and the film directed by Matsuoka Joji (Sayonara, Kuro) has found similar success at the Japanese box office. Acclaimed actor Odagiri Joe (Yureru), in a markedly restrained performance, stars as the son, alongside real-life mother-and-daughter actresses Kiki Kirin and Uchida Yayako, who play the mother in her young and elder years. The film also co-stars popular actress Matsu Takako (The Hidden Blade) and veteran actor Kobayashi Kaoru, and features a long line-up of unassuming celebrity cameos. Touching a common chord with both critics and moviegoers, Tokyo Tower - Mom & Me, and Sometimes Dad has received 14 nominations at the 31st Japan Academy Awards, nods in every possible category. After moving from the coal mining town of Fukuoka to Tokyo to study art, Masaya (Odagiri Joe) finds himself fumbling in life, unable to set a direction for himself. Masaya takes after both his parents, and is often balancing both the good and the bad he has inherited from his strong, gentle mother and reckless, irresponsible father. Lost in the bright lights of the big city, he struggles to make a living. Everything changes one day when he finds out that his mother has been diagnosed with cancer...

Team Batista, Japan's number one heart surgery team, has lost three consecutive patients on the operating table - and the cause may be murder! Based on a best-selling novel, The Glorious Team Batista follows a storied surgical team who perform the difficult "Batista Operation", a procedure that requires the heart to stop beating for a period of time. Takeuchi Yuko (Be With Me) and Abe Hiroshi (Bubble Fiction - Boom or Bust) lead the ensemble cast as the investigating duo who must determine if someone on Team Batista is killing their own patients - and if so, why? Glorious Team Batista combines elements of murder mystery and hospital drama, as the investigators struggle with medical ethics as well as the chilling motives that would drive someone on the most revered surgery team in Japan to take human lives. Glorious Team Batista is - quite literally - a heart-stopping medical thriller, but the star performances from the comely Takeuchi and most especially the charismatic Abe Hiroshi help alleviate the suspense. The "Batista Operation" is an innovative surgical procedure on the human heart that's quite risky - but Tojo University Hospital's crack team is working on a streak of over twenty successful operations in a row, earning them the title "Glorious Team Batista". But when a number of their patients die on the operating table, suspicions are aroused. The hospital asks internal investigator Taguchi (Takeuchi Yuko) to take a look at the 7-member team, and while she does uncover a complex web of clashing personalities and shifty motivations, she doesn't truly see anything amiss. Enter national health ministry official Shiratori (Abe Hiroshi), who strides into Tojo and orders Taguchi to reopen her investigation. He believes that murder is definitely on the agenda, and proceeds to run amok all over the hospital to prove his point. It's a point well taken, as the casualties continue even with Taguchi and Shiratori on the watch, butting heads all the while. With the reputation of the hospital on the line, will Taguchi and Shiratori be able to put their differences aside and determine which member of the Glorious Team Batista is, in fact, a murderer?

Female director Boo Ji Young (Sisters on the Road) brings together an award-winning lineup of actresses Yeom Jung Ah (A Tale of Two Sisters), Moon Jung Hee (Hide and Seek), Kim Young Ae (The Attorney) and Chun Woo Hee (Han Gong Ju) for this empathetic drama about labor activism and its effects on the women's lives and families. Cart also co-stars Kim Kang Woo (Tabloid Truth) as a mart supervisor who supports the women's cause and EXO's D.O (It's Okay, That's Love) as Yeom Jung Ah's teenage son. Working mother of two Sun Hee (Yeom Jung Ah) is a model employee at the large discount mart she works for, and has been promised promotion to full-time status. Before the promotion comes through, however, she and the other female contract workers, many of whom depend on the job for livelihood, are suddenly informed that their contracts have been terminated early. They form a union and attempt to negotiate, but management refuses to even acknowledge them. To make their voices heard, the women stage a sitdown strike and take over the mart in what will be the beginning of a long and grueling fight with the company.

My Little Bride's Moon Geun Young slips on her dancing shoes for The Innocent Steps, a heartwarming motion picture about innocent love and the power of dance! In this second film from director Park Young Hun (Addicted), teen star Moon plays Jang Chae Rin, a young Korean girl from the poor Chinese town of Yanbian. When her dance champion sister bows out of an upcoming national dancing competition in Seoul, Chae Rin poses as her sister and attends the event in her place. One problem: Chae Rin has zero dancing experience! Co-starring in this winning romance is Park Geon Hyeong (DMZ) who plays her dance partner, Na Young Sae. As a former member of South Korea's national dance team, Young Sae exudes professionalism, refusing to get involved with the film s beautiful heroine. But as their practices continue, a bond between the two soon develops, as she learns not only how to dance from Young Sae, but how to love as well. But what happens when the villainous Jeong Hyeon Su (Yoon Chan) enters the picture and tries to break them apart? Will their budding romance survive? As with her previous hit film, My Little Bride, Moon Geun Young wins over her audiences with her loveable, wide-eyed charisma, but this time around, she brings with her a level of maturity that might surprise viewers. Critically-acclaimed for his performance in the local stage version of Saturday Night Fever, Park Geon Hyeong acquits himself well as the male lead, sure to win the hearts of female viewers with his dancing skills and winning good looks. Fans of old-fashioned love stories with a contemporary sensibility won't go wrong with The Innocent Steps, an entertaining romance that'll make you want to dance the night away!

A new director's horror movie amazingly turns out to be one of the top-grossing films in Taiwan in 2005! Director Leste Chen has shown great potential in his award-winning short films and his MVs for super stars like Joey Yung and Eason Chan. His first feature-length film The Heirloom, which he made at the age of 24, stars four aspiring Taiwanese actors and actresses. Terri Kwan received a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the Golden Horse for Turning Left and Turning Right , and in The Heirloom, her first film as the female lead, she teams up with the handsome Jason Chang whose charm previously lit up Formula 17. Together with Chang Yu Chen and Tender Huang, they will unfold a most thrilling story about a traditional Chinese family. Jason Chang is James, a young man who inherits his ancestors' residence. All other family members died twenty years ago by hanging themselves at the same time, and the house has become haunted since then... Director Leste Chen explores in The Heirloom how the very common notion of height can create a uncanny atmosphere - especially when James' family members all met their deaths on the same altitude, high above ground level. James and his girlfriend Yo (Terri Kwan), and their two friends try to uncover the mystery of The Heirloom, and just when they notice how sacrifice and family fortune are closely tied, they may no longer be able to escape from a long forgotten curse...
