Instead of just binging on plain Ferrero Rocher, there are so many creative ways to incorporate these Italian chocolates in your desserts and celebratory gifts.

Bouquet for Your Valentine

Flowers wilt and you can’t do much with them except display it on your desk or at home. A booming trend these days involves replacing bouquets of flowers with bouquets of food like bacon, fried chicken, and chocolates. Instead of using regular, convenient store-bought chocolate bars, buy Ferrero Rocher chocolates and put them in a bouquet for a more luxurious gift.

To create your own Ferrero Rocher bouquet, you will need a box of these delicious pralines, crepe papers, scissors, bamboo skewers, floral tape, thread, wrapping materials, ribbon, and glue, and optionally, fake flowers. Began by skewering your cold and firm Ferrero Rocher chocolates. Then, cut out your colored crepe papers so you can mimic the appearance of a rose or other flower petals and then wrap it around each Ferrero Rocher. Secure it with thread and cover the whole skewer with a green crepe paper. You can also cut out fake leaves from the crepe paper. After you’ve wrapped every Ferrero Rocher, gather them and the fake flowers and wrap it with tulle, burlap, Japanese paper, or organza. Your Ferrero Rocher bouquet is now ready to be given to your loved ones.

Give Your Meals a Sweet Finish

For a more basic approach, you can incorporate a box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates into various dessert recipes. Desserts like birthday cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, and brownies are just the tip of the Ferrero Rocher dessert iceberg. To create a basic Ferrero Rocher cake, that you can later modify into other things, you will need the ingredients below.

For the cake batter

  • 5 large eggs
  • 6 tbsp of granulated sugar
  • 1¾ cups of ground hazelnuts
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder

For the cream

  • 200 grams of unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 1½ cups of chocolate chips
  • 7 tablespoons of Nutella
  • 1 cup of crushed wafers

For the topping

  • 10 Ferrero Rocher chocolates; halved
  • ½ cups of hazelnuts; chopped

First, whisk the eggs and sugar until they’re light and fluffy before folding in the sifted dry ingredients. Pour the batter into a buttered 9-inch baking dish and bake at 176c for 40 minutes. For the cream, melt the chocolate in a double-boiler or in the microwave. Let it cool and whisk together the melted chocolate with butter and Nutella. Assemble the cake by slicing it into two or three layers after it has cooled. Spread some crunched wafers in between the layers and frost the entire cake with the chocolate cream. Decorate the sides of the cake with the chopped hazelnuts and place the halved Ferrero Rocher around the perimeter of the cake.

Giant Ferrero Rocher

Nothing can possibly be better than a Ferrero Rocher. So why not take these spherical sweets to the next level by making your own large Ferrero Rocher? First, you need to divide your ingredients for the different layers of the chocolate. You can create the signature Ferrero Rocher wrapper by using a roll of shiny fold paper, a sheet of brown cardboard for the cupcake liner, and one roll of masking tape. The recipes below can make 2 halves or hemispheres to make a giant Ferrero Rocher.

Hazelnut Center

  • 2 egg whites
  • ½ cup of icing sugar
  • ½ cup of ground hazelnuts
  • 1½ tbsp of sugar
  • ¼ cup of chopped hazelnuts

Whisk the egg whites and sugar until fluffy. Sift the dry ingredients into the wet batter and fold it gently. Do not overmix and pour it into the hemisphere silicone mold. Wait for 4 hours for it to firm up.

  • 2 packets of rolled wafer ice cream cones

Dip the edges of the cones and bake in an 180c oven. Unroll the cones and lay them around the inside of the hemisphere pan and bake again.

Hazelnut Ganache

  • 600g of dark chocolate containing cocoa butter
  • 1800g of milk chocolate, also containing cocoa butter
  • 800ml of cream
  • 750g of Nutella

Heat the cream in the microwave for a few seconds and pour it into a bowl filled with the dark and milk chocolate. Add the Nutella and keep stirring until combined and smooth Pour the ganache into the wafer crust and leave to set. Create an indentation in the middle and put the hardened hazelnut center.

  • 1 cup of chopped hazelnuts
  • 800g of tempered milk chocolate

Once you’ve covered the ganache-filled wafer with extra hazelnut ganache, you can start adding the toppings. After it has set, combine the two halves using more melted chocolate as adhesive and wrap it with the gold paper.
