Born in Picanza, Italy in 1934, Giorgio Armani lived in a small industrial town the outside of Milan with his two siblings and his dad, who worked as a shipping manager. It was a difficult and hard time in the Italian history at that time Giorgio and his two siblings, Sergio and Rosanna experienced the sufferings of World War II. At an early age, Armani has shown interest in anatomy and structuring, making dolls out of the mud with a coffee bean hidden inside as his hobby.
He studied to be a doctor but eventually stumbled into the fashion business and nudged on by his business partner, Sergio Galeotti.
