Previously, Xiaomi officials tweeted about a new device coming soon but they did not confirm if it is the Redmi Note 4. Xiaomi may have leaked Redmi Pro’s successor, the Redmi Pro 2, on their official website. Although they managed to take down the listing quickly, the hawk-eyed followers of the device already had gathered information on it. Based on the leak, the Redmi Pro 2 will sport a 5.5-inch AMOLED display and will house a whopping battery capacity of 4,100 mAh, which is a slight upgrade from its predecessor. It will wield a metallic body and a 2.5D screen with a curved glass surface.
Xiaomi enjoyed amazing success with the recent flash sale of its Mi6 flagship, selling out in the first few hours. However, news that the company will not be releasing the Mi6 Plus has raised some questions. To compensate for the lack of the Mi6 Plus launch, latest rumours are suggesting that the Mi Note 3 is going to be unveiled much sooner than initially planned.
