Donnie Yen in a throwback kung fu extravaganza! If ever there were a match made in heaven, this is it. After a summer that saw the inimitable martial artist/actor spend much of his time in period garb, Donnie returns to the present with Hong Kong Film Awards Best Director winner Teddy Chen's (Bodyguards and Assassins) action thriller Kung Fu Jungle. The film, made as an homage to Hong Kong action movies, boasts a supporting cast that includes Wang Baoqiang (Lost In Thailand), Charlie Yeung (Cold War), Michelle Bai (As The Light Goes Out), Alex Fong (Overheard 3) and Louis Fan (Ip Man 2). Ha Hou Mou (Donnie Yen) is a martial arts teacher who works at a police academy. He is jailed when he accidentally kills a man during a duel, but three years into his sentence, a ruthless martial arts master begins challenging fellow kung fu practitioners in a series of duels that inevitably end in deaths. Hoping to shorten his sentence, Hou Mou volunteers to help the police with the investigation. Just as he's getting closer to the truth, Hou Mou suddenly goes on the run. What is he planning to do? And who is responsible for the murders?

Released in 1993, a year of peak production for Jet Li, Last Hero in China was Wong Jing's go at a story about one of the most loved folk heroes in Chinese history, Wong Fei Hung. By that time, Jet Li had already established himself as the definitive Wong Fei Hung of the early 90s, having starred as the martial artist and physician in four of Tsui Hark's Once Upon a Time in China films. As it's written and directed by Wong Jing, Last Hero in China has a decidedly lighter, more comedic tone than Jet Li's other outings as Wong Fei Hung, but, with Yuen Woo Ping as action choreographer, the film's action scenes are no less dynamic than those of its more sober cousins. Thanks to the bumbling efforts of his disciples So (Dicky Cheung) and Leung Fun (Bryan Leung), Wong Fei Hung returns to Guangdong after a stint in Hong Kong to find that his martial arts academy has moved to a new space right beside a brothel. Although he's worshipped as a hero by the brothel's owner (Nat Chan) and his sister (Anita Yuen), he has no time for them, as he uncovers a shocking human trafficking operation. While investigating, he encounters Tit Yin (Sharla Cheung) and her father, who've traveled from Sichuan to find her kidnapped sister. Together, the three delve deeper into the mystery, and discover that the person behind the whole human trafficking ring may be none other than the city's top government official, Lui Yat Siu (Alan Chui).

Chow Sing Sing (Stephen Chow) returns for even more undercover hijinks in Fight Back to School III, the wackiest and most star-packed entry in the series! Unlike the previous two films, Sing's undercover assignment isn't high school. Instead, he's assigned to go undercover as the husband of Judy Tong, a wealthy socialite played with scene-stealing charm by the divine Anita Mui! Apparently Chow Sing Sing is a dead ringer for Judy's husband, who was discovered murdered only days before. By pretending to be her husband, Sing can flush out the real murderer...or prove that Judy is, in fact, the guilty one! Experienced comedymeister Wong Jing takes directing duties from previous Fight Back to School director Gordon Chan, and serves up buckets of laughs by gleefully skewering Basic Instinct, and Stephen Chow's God of Gamblers films, among others. Co-starring Anthony Wong, Kathy Chau, Nat Chan Bak Cheung, Leung Ka Yan, and returning cast member Sharla Cheung, Fight Back to School III is yet another monster comedy hit from Hong Kong's top comic superstar!

When Hong Kong falls into darkness, it's up to a team of heroic firefighters to bring light back into the city in As the Light Goes Out, a big-budget disaster thriller from Gallants director Derek Kwok. Sharing the screen for the first time since Dragon Tiger Gate, Nicholas Tse and Shawn Yue co-star as two firefighters whose friendship is tested in the face of great calamity. Reflecting the mood of contemporary Hong Kong society, Kwok shows that the true danger in a fire is the smoke, which can envelop us and leave us with our own fears and insecurities. Co-starring Simon Yam, Hu Jun and Andy On, As the Light Goes Out topped the Hong Kong box office for four consecutive weeks and earned eight nominations at the Hong Kong Film Awards. Christmas Eve, Hong Kong. Temperature is at an all-time high, and so is the tension between young firefighters Sum (Nicholas Tse), Bong (Shawn Yue) and Fai (Andy On) at the Lung Kwu Tang Fire Station. A year earlier, Bong took the fall for a deadly incident, and Fai took advantage of it to get ahead. Since then, Bong and Sum's friendship with Fai has been sour and hostile. Meanwhile, Hai Yang (Hu Jun) is a newly transferred firefighter from Mainland China, and hard-line veteran Pui (Simon Yam) is determined to break him in before he enters retirement. When a seemingly small fire at a local distillery leads to an explosion at a nearby power plant, Hong Kong falls into a citywide blackout. Now, the Lung Kwu Tang firefighters must band together to stop the fire at the power plant and rescue those trapped inside. This edition includes a visual commentary by director Derek Kwok, star Shawn Yue, special effects supervisor Henri Wong and cinematographer Jason Kwan, as well as making of, interviews and trailers.

2014 marks the 40th anniversary of Hong Kong's famous Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), the city's law enforcement agency that specifically investigates corruption and operates independently from the police force. The Hong Kong entertainment industry has joined in celebrating the institution's work with the corruption crime thriller Z Storm, the first movie in 15 years from veteran director David Lam (First Shot) who actually worked at the ICAC for several years. When a woman enters the ICAC headquarters to accuse police officer Wong Man Bin (Gordon Lam, Cold War) of corruption, William Luk (Louis Koo, The White Storm) opens an investigation into what initially appears to be a simple case of low-level corruption. He soon discovers that the scope of the case is much bigger than he realized, as key witnesses start getting killed off one by one. Undaunted, William continues the investigation, uncovering a vast conspiracy involving a charity managed by lawyer Malcolm Wu (Michael Wong, Firestorm), a mysterious girl named Angel (Dada Chan, Vulgaria), top-level policemen, tycoons and even the Hong Kong government.

You can run from your crimes, but you can never escape the watchful eyes of Detective Kaga Kyoichiro. After the popular television adaptations of Shinzanmono and Akai Yubi, the inquisitive crime fighter from Higashino Keigo's popular novel series now hits the big screen with Wings of the Kirin. In his latest case, the stern crime solver must dig out the truth in a seemingly open-and-shut case involving a stabbing at the famous Nihonbashi. After his popular turn as Kaga on the two previous television adaptations, Abe Hiroshi plays the brilliant detective for the third time in Kirin. In addition to the return of regulars Mizobata Junpei (as Kaga's cousin/partner), Kuroki Meisa (as a local reporter), and Yamazaki Tsutomu (as Kaga's ailing father), Abe is also joined by a new supporting cast that includes Aragaki Yui (Hanamizuki), Tanaka Rena (The Tale of Genji), and Nakai Kiichi (Once in a Blue Moon). Kaga Kyoichiro (Abe Hiroshi) is brought in to investigate a case of a salaryman (Nakai Kiichi) found dead on Tokyo's Nihonbashi. After the man's co-worker was found hit by a truck after fleeing the crime scene, the police think that they have an open-and-shut case on their hands. However, the ever-observant Kaga thinks that there's more to what's on the surface and begins to investigate deeper, from the dead man's son to the suspect's girlfriend (Aragaki Yui). Follow the clues and see if you can keep up with the brilliant mind of Detective Kaga.

Check-in to the Hotel Deluxe with the stars! All's Well Ends Well series producer Raymond Wong is back with his latest Lunar New Year comedy extravaganza, bringing together Hong Kong's biggest comedy stars for an uproarious good time to ring in the Year of the Snake. All's Well Ends Well 2009 director Vincent Kuk brings the production Hangzhou's gorgeous Qiandao Lake for this story about the crazy happenings in a five-star hotel fighting to keep its elite status. In addition to familiar All's Well stars Sandra Ng, Ronald Cheng, Chapman To, Lynn Xiong and Raymond Wong himself, Hotel Deluxe welcomes newcomers Fiona Sit, Jim Chim and Teresa Mo, who is facing off Sandra Ng onscreen for the first time in 20 years. The staff of the Hundred Stars Hotel are not particularly good at their job, but they do their best to satisfy all their guests...as long as it's not too much trouble. When their five-star status is at risk, corporate headquarters decides to send Cruella Koo (Teresa Mo) to the hotel to make sure the staff do their part in keeping the hotel's stars. Koo's first step in her plan is inviting a film shoot to the hotel, along with competing superstars Audrey (Lynn Xiong) and Marilyn (Karena Ng). Manager OK Pao (Ronald Cheng) immediately falls for Marilyn, even though frequent visitor/old friend Bobo (Fiona Sit) is secretly in love with him. Meanwhile, heiress Bobo must find a husband to stop her uncle (Raymond Wong) from getting his hands on the family fortune. With the help of OK Pao, the entire hotel staff including maid Peachey (Sandra Ng) and bartender Pacino (Chapman To) decide to pitch in to help Bobo.

The tales of the heroic Yang family have been the stuff of legends. Spanning several generations, the Yangs' military exploits are considered the epitome of brotherhood, courage and loyalty to family. As a result, their stories have been adapted for many popular television series and films over the years, making them one of the most famous families in Chinese culture. The rescue of Yang Ye by his seven sons is now the subject of Saving General Yang, the latest film from director Ronny Yu (Bride with White Hair). The veteran Hong Kong director finally returns to filmmaking seven years after Fearless with this grand period epic produced by Ip Man producer Raymond Wong. No stranger to making action-packed blockbusters, Yu expertly stages exciting fight scenes (with the help of action choreographed by Stephen Tung) that complements the story's powerful emotions of sacrifice and family. From large-scale attacks involving boulders to a tense duel with arrows, the action scenes in Saving General Yang will leave audiences gasping for breath. Yu has also gathered a talented cast of male superstars to play the Yang warriors. In addition to Adam Cheng (Zu: The Warriors From Magic Mountain) as patriarch Yang Ye, the general's seven courageous sons are played by Ekin Cheng (Young and Dangerous), Raymond Lam (Sorcerer and the White Snake), Vic Chou (New Perfect Two), Wu Chun (My Kingdom), Fu Xinbo (Hot Summer Days) Yu Bo (Hotel Deluxe) and Li Chen (Aftershock). Saving General Yang is spectacular old-school action entertainment made for a new generation! When a rival nation sends troops to invade the Song Dynasty, the emperor sends general Yang Ye (Adam Cheng) to defend the nation. However, Yang's place in the court is shaky due to a feud with Pan Renmei caused by the accidental death of his son at the hands of one of Yang's sons. At the battle, Yang is abandoned by Pan's troops, leaving him trapped in the face of an attack by Yeli Yuan (Shao Bing), an enemy general who wants to kill Yang to avenge his father. After learning about their father's predicament, Yang Ye's seven sons set out to rescue their father at any cost. Blu-ray Edition comes with a special commemorative cover. It includes making of, interviews and trailers.

Six teens head to a remote island for a long weekend of fun and partying. But they've chosen the wrong time and place. The deserted island was traditionally used as the site of sacrificial rituals for the Devouring Ghost Festival. On the night of Friday September 13, the angry spirits rise again and they're out for blood. SARS Wars director Taweewat Wantha delivers blood and gore aplenty in the teen horror slasher Long Weekend (a.k.a. Thongsuk 13). Sticking to the trusty formula of simple story and outrageous scares, the film is filled with grudge-filled ghosts, gruesome deaths and spine-chilling, eye-popping visuals. The film's young cast is led by singer Namcha Cheranut Yusanonda and actor Chinawut Indracusin, as the eponymous creepy teen Thongsuk.

On March 11, 2011, a powerful earthquake and the tsunami waves that followed killed tens of thousands of people in northeast Japan. Journalist Ishii Kota chronicled his ten days in the town of Kamaishi one of the hardest-hit areas in the disasters in his book Itai Shinsai, Tsunami of Hate ni. Writer-director Kimizuka Ryoichi (the Bayside Shakedown series, Nobody to Watch Over Me) recreates those ten days in Reunion. The film stars Nishida Toshiyuki (Ghost of a Chance, Outrage Beyond) as a retired funeral home employee who brought order to Kamaishi's temporary funeral home and helped families of the victims properly put their loved ones to rest. Proceeds from the film were donated to the recovery effort in the disaster zone. After the March 11th tsunami virtually wiped away half of Kamaishi, a temporary morgue was set up in a local gym to handle the dead. After the disaster, retired undertaker Chiba Atsushi (Nishida Toshiyuki) volunteered to take charge of the funeral home. Using his years of experience, Atsushi taught rescue workers to handle the bodies with care, arranged for the bodies to be presented in a respectable state to family members and spoke softly to them as he prepared them for their final journey into the crematorium. Soon, rescue workers, city employees and medical professionals working on the site were so touched by Atsushi's dedication to the cause that they eventually came together to lend a helping hand.

The superstar comedy stylings of Stephen Chow get a mega-workout in Tricky Brains, an early blockbuster hit starring Stephen Chow and Andy Lau! Stephen Chow is Jing Koo, the self-styled "Handsome Tricky Expert", who will gladly screw with you if it means a paycheck for himself. The payee is Macky (Waise Lee), who wants the handsome Kit (Andy Lau) out of the way so he can be made manager of the company. Jing Koo takes the job, and starts his con by fooling Kit's father (frequent Stephen Chow collaborator Richard Ng Man Tat) into thinking that he is, in fact, the long-lost half brother of Kit. Both Kit and his dad buy into Jing Koo's tricks, but their kindness is rough on the avowed trickster. Will he regret tricking Kit and his father? And will the office be reduced to a shambles once the "Handsome Tricky Expert" is done with them?Tricky Brains demonstrates Stephen Chow's snarky comic persona at its absolute best, meaning the master comedian spends all his time imposing his superiority over the less quick-witted folks around him. Jing Koo runs virtual rings around all his victims, which include sexy Chingmy Yau, and Rosamund Kwan as Kit's nominal love interest. Like other films directed by Wong Jing, Tricky Brains is a wacky joke-a-minute laffer full of movie parodies, sudden musical numbers, and enough silliness to fill ten other films. And like other Stephen Chow movies, Tricky Brains is one incredibly funny movie!

Following their successful partnership with SPL, super action star Donnie Yen and director Wilson Yip reunite for the highly anticipated movie Dragon Tiger Gate. Together with Nicholas Tse (New Police Story) and Shawn Yue (Dragon Squad), Yen forms an invincible trio in this movie adaptation of Tony Wong's hugely popular, long-running Hong Kong comic series. The film brings alive the dynamic action and visually stunning fighting scenes from the comic books. Packed with hard-boiled action sequences, the film features 5 large-scale fighting scenes, all choreographed by Donnie Yen. Donnie Yen is Dragon, who left the martial arts organization Dragon Tiger Gate years ago and is now working under triad leader Ma Kwun (Chen Kuan Tai, star of many Shaw Brothers swordplay films). Ma Kwun gets the Lousha Plaque which grants him the exclusive rights to do business with Shibumi, the evil leader of the Lousha Sect. Dragon's long-lost brother Tiger (Nicholas Tse), still living in Dragon Tiger Gate, accidentally gets hold of the Plaque, and the two brothers finally cross paths... The film eventually climaxes in some spectacular fighting sequences set in the mysterious Lousha headquarters, with Dragon, Tiger, and Turbo Shek (Shawn Yue) fighting against the savage Shibumi. Apart from astounding action, Dragon Tiger Gate also contains many touching moments, which is where director Wilson Yip's strength lies. The movie co-stars Yuen Wah from Kung Fu Hustle as the kung fu master of Dragon Tiger Gate. Mainland actresses Dong Jie and Li Xiaoran play Ma Kwun's sweet daughter and vixen Lousha respectively. Tony Wong, creator of the original comic series, makes a cameo as a martial arts expert, and fans of the original comic series will surely find his appearance remarkable.

Writer/producer Wong Jing works his gambling movie magic in No Risk, No Gain, a film which is really not a sequel, prequel, or related offshoot to the hit Casino Raiders, which starred Andy Lau and Alan Tam. The same two actors return for No Risk, No Gain as completely different characters in completely different situations. Alan Tam is the King of Asian Gamblers, who's coerced into traveling to Macau for a gambling competition to settle the true owner of the "King of Asian Gamblers" title. But his ID and money are stolen by a pair of scam artists (Andy Lau and Nat Chan Bak Cheung), who decide to head to Macau and gamble in place of the true Gambling King! However, someone is out for the Gambling King's life, but will they target the right man? Or will the three gamblers band together to fight off the bad guys? Hong Kong-style shootouts and gambling action are the nominal draws in No Risk, No Gain, but the all-star cast guarantees that this will be a fun, entertaining affair! Co-starring Anthony Wong, Christine Ng, May Lo, and the gorgeous Michelle Reis.

Hong Kong's answer to Three Men and a Baby - with Jackie Chan! Following 2004's New Police Story, the affable superstar teams up with director Benny Chan again for Rob-B-Hood, a hilarious action comedy that pulls out all the punches - and the diapers. Rob-B-Hood was a huge box office hit in Hong Kong and China, proving that Jackie Chan is still more than capable of delivering the goods. The action-packed film is filled with his trademark comedic fight sequences, inventive stunts, and jaw-dropping car chases. Jackie teams up with veteran actor Michael Hui and heartthrob Louis Koo (Election) for the first time, and the three show great comedic chemistry as partners in crime and babysitting. Yuen Biao makes a welcome appearance, while a host of celebrity cameos keeps the stargazers busy. Pride of place, however, goes to baby Matthew Medvedev, the criminally cute star of the film who has reportedly already signed a management contract with Jackie Chan's company. Small-time burglars Thongs (Jackie Chan), Octopus (Louis Koo), and Landlord (Michael Hui) have some cash flow and people issues. Thongs has a gambling problem that empties his wallets and estranges him from his family. Octopus wastes all his money on girlfriends, while neglecting his pregnant wife (Charlene Choi). Mastermind Landlord, who is saving up for retirement with his mentally unstable wife (veteran singer Teresa Carpio), gets robbed of his hard-earned loot. Though the thieving trio pride themselves on having moral standards, the need for cash leads them to take a shady kidnapping job. With the golden baby (Matthew Medvedev) in tow, Thongs and Octopus are soon in over their heads trying to appease the finicky tot and figure out this whole parenting thing, while avoiding the police, debtors, and various unsavory characters who will go to all lengths to get that baby.

Touted as Thai cinema's first homegrown 3D movie, Dark Flight is the latest spooky brainchild from Isara Nadee, part of the Ronin Team that directed the infamous Art of the Devil 2. The aircraft chiller took its inspirations from the worst aviation disaster ever in Thailand that resulted in over a hundred casualties in 1998. With singer/actress Marsha Watanapanich (Alone and Phobia 2) top-lining, the flick combines the claustrophobic nature of flying and the classic haunted house setup with the latest 3D technology to hair-raising, spine-tingling effect. It's no surprise that the Thai horror blockbuster has managed to possess moviegoers everywhere in the Southeast Asia. Young flight attendant New (Marsha Wattanapanich) miraculously survived a tragic plane crash ten years ago. Insisting that it was the doings of the vengeful spirits onboard, she was ordered to receive psychotherapy. Today, she is able to return to the frontline. But on her first comeback flight from Bangkok to Phuket, New is shocked to find that her plane is the one that crashed ten years ago, only having been repaired and refurbished by the airline. Now that the plane, shrouded in an unsettling eeriness, has already taken off, it's too late for her to back out. With nowhere to run, New and the other passengers are plunged into the fright of their lives... This version comes with both the 3D version and the 2D version of the movie on Blu-ray. A 3D Blu-ray player, 3D TV and compatible 3D glasses (not included herein) are required for the playback of the 3D version.

It may sound like clich , but Japanese people really do love their fish. If Japan has the best and freshest fish in the world, then Tokyo's Tsukiji Fish Market is where you're most likely to find them. It's the home of Japan's biggest daily fish auction, and it's a place of fierce competition between fish merchants that have been in the business for generations. The Taste of Fish puts this long-lasting business tradition on the big screen with the hopes of joining the ranks of the Tora-San and Fishing Fool's Diary films, both long-running Japanese film series about the various adventures of common folk. Based on a comic series, The Taste of Fish follows businessman Shuntaro (Osawa Takao), who has a successful career in a trading company and is in a steady relationship with girlfriend Asuka (Tanaka Rena). One day, Shuntaro has to help out at the fish wholesaler store run by Asuka's father, and he immediately falls in love with the world of Tsukiji Fish Market. Soon, Shuntaro quits his job and devotes all of his time to running the business while learning about the market's fascinating set of long-standing traditions. However, he must first also learn to distinguish the tastes of different fishes before he can survive in the competitive world of Tsukiji.

Let the battle begin! Based on Makime Manabu's best-selling fantasy novel, Battle League Horumo (a.k.a. Kamogawa Horumo) is a wildly inventive and entertaining action comedy from director Motoki Katsuhide, who knows more than a thing or two about combining action, fantasy, and special effects after helming the Gegege no Kitaro movie series. This strange little film revolves around a group of college students who participate in a traditional combat game that involves a color array of demon spirits courtesy of renowned anime house GONZO. Yamada Takayuki (Crows Zero) leads a young and energetic cast that includes Kuriyama Chiaki (Exte), Ishida Takuya (Oppai Volleyball), and Hamada Gaku (Fish Story) It took two extra years of self-study but Akira (Yamada Takayuki) has finally made it into Kyoto University. While attending a welcome party hosted by Azure Dragon, he falls in love at first sight with one of the members and immediately signs up. It turns out Azure Dragon is no ordinary club though. The members represent their school in the 1000-year-old tradition of "Horumo" battle. Ten-member teams from different universities compete in battle by manipulating an army of 100 Oni spirits!

YesAsia
After the ambitious Shinjuku Incident, Derek Yee dips into the cops-and-robbers genre once more with the psychological thriller Triple Tap. With a title referring to a special (and fictional) firearm shooting technique that involves a shooter firing three consecutive shots at the same spot, the film is a thematic follow-up to the 2000 gunplay action thriller Double Tap, also produced by Yee. Similar to its predecessor, Triple Tap explores the depths of madness within a man corrupted by greed and the power of the gun. Daniel Wu and Louis Koo reunite once again as two competitive gun shooters involved in a cerebral game of wits in the aftermath of a fatal armed robbery. Alex Fong Chung Sun reprises his role from Double Tap and One Nite in Mongkok, playing a veteran police detective who has been forever scarred by the dangerous power of the gun. To balance out the testosterone, Twins' Charlene Choi and Li Bing Bing (The Message) also join the cast to give the film a much-needed feminine touch. Financial wunderkind Ken (Louis Koo) and hotshot police detective Jerry (Daniel Wu) meet as competitors at a shooting competition. After the competition, Ken encounters an armed robbery on the highway and uses his gun to take down several of the criminals. Under the strict firearm laws of Hong Kong, Jerry files charges against Ken, who manages to escape conviction. However, Jerry is not convinced that Ken is completely innocent and goes to his mentor Miu (Alex Fong Chung Sun) for advice. Meanwhile, Ken's stress from juggling work and the two women in his life (Charlene Choi and Li Bing Bing) is starting to wear him down psychologically. With one of the robbers (Chapman To) coming back for revenge and Jerry pressing forward with his investigation, Ken hits his breaking point.
